  1. Operation requirements for guardrail accessories

1.1. Ensure all necessary zinc steel fence installation tools are prepared (similar to stair railing installation tools)

1.2. Check whether the accessories (such as connection blocks, expansion screws, etc.) are complete according to the accessory list

II. Assembly of guardrail accessories

2.1. The assembly site should be flat and covered with carpet or cardboard (to avoid scratching the products during the assembly process):

2.2 Connection between horizontal and vertical bars:

2.2.1 Place the protective cover of the vertical rod into the A hole of the horizontal rod, and use a rubber hammer to gently tap it, ensuring that the protective cover is securely fixed to the horizontal rod;

2.2.2 Insert the vertical rod into the A hole of the horizontal rod from one end to the other (the hole drilled for the vertical rod should be in the same direction as the hole on the horizontal rod), and lock the anti-tamper screw on the drilled vertical rod;

2.3 Connection between column and crossbar

2.3.1 Install connecting blocks on the columns (Note: only install connecting blocks in one direction on the columns located on the side);

2.3.2 Lock the tamper-proof screws on the connection block.

2.4: Connection between guardrail accessory face tube and upright

2.4.1 Draw a line according to the drawing size to determine the position of the one-way valve on the surface tube, and use self-tapping screws to fix the one-way valve;

2.4.2 Slide the face tube into the one-way valve, gently tap it with a rubber hammer to secure it, and drive a rivet into the side of the one-way valve;

III. Installation of guardrail accessories

3.1 Base treatment

At the location where the railing posts are installed, the base concrete must not be loose, and the installation elevation should meet the design requirements. Uneven areas must be removed or repaired to be flat. For areas with severe honeycombing and pitted surfaces, such as overly concave areas, cement mortar should not be used for repair. Instead, high-strength concrete should be used for repair, and the railing installation can only proceed after the concrete has reached a certain strength.

3.2 Fixed surface tube

According to the height specified in the drawing, determine the position of the surface tube installation clip. Draw a line for the zinc steel guardrail accessories and drive expansion screws. Fix the surface tube clip onto the wall, and then use rivets to secure the surface tube.

3.3 Installing the column

First, set out on the base layer to determine the position of the column fixing points. Then, use a percussion drill to drill holes, and install expansion screws. After the screws are fixed, when tightening the screws, two people are required to cooperate. One person holds the column to keep it vertical (using a level ruler), and must not shake while tightening the screws. The other person tightens the screws around;

IV. Quality standards for zinc steel fence accessories

4.1 The shape, size, and installation position of the railings should comply with the design requirements; inspection methods include observation, tape measurement, and checking the incoming inspection records.

4.2 The quantity, specifications, locations, and connection points of the railing post fixing points shall comply with the design requirements. Inspection method: check the inspection records of concealed works.

4.3 The height of railings, spacing between columns, and installation locations must comply with design requirements. Railings must be installed firmly and without any looseness. Inspection methods include observation, tape measurement, and hand inspection.

4.4 The allowable deviation and inspection method for the installation of railings and handrails shall comply with the “Standard for Quality Inspection and Evaluation of High-level Decoration Engineering” for zinc steel guardrail accessories

Rail verticality: 2mm. Check with plumb line and ruler; rail spacing: 2mm. Check with plumb line and ruler; straightness of face tubes and crossbars: 3mm. Check with plumb line and ruler; height difference of rails: 2mm. Check with ruler
